Higher education must make diverse contributions to a world undergoing constant and rapid change. In this respect, relevance is the key to harmony between the missions of higher education and the expectations of society.

The aim of EDHEC Research Day is not only to highlight the role of higher education in society at large but also to make it clear that work in university research and in higher education has its place in all sectors of society, above all in the professional world.

The day will open with a plenary session during which the EDHEC research and development division will lead a debate on the financing of higher education and the impact of management research on the world of business.

The afternoon will be dedicated to thematic workshops in which researchers and practitioners will present the EDHEC Research Centres and discuss their latest findings in accounting and financial analysis, economics, market finance, management, marketing, and legal studies.

A special workshop will focus on EDHEC's new doctoral programme in finance.
