Employment Brochure Promotes Finance Students

NIKKI HARLE March 20, 2007
One of the many initiatives taken by EDHEC Business School to bring its students closer to recruiters is to send out a brochure promoting its students to its many business contacts.

EDHEC Business School strives to provide maximal support to its students in their professional career, especially through the difficult first steps of an international experience.  In order for students to gain maximum profits from the School's reputation and its connections in the business world, an employment brochure for the MSc students has been created and distributed to major companies. This project has been launched in addition to the actions and services of EDHEC's internship office.

The employment brochure produced by Pr. Daphne Sfeir and David Hampton Programme Managers of the MSc in Risk and Asset Management and MSc in Finance describes the content of the two Finance courses to more than 100 000 contacts of the Risk and Asset Management Research Centre and explains the merits of the EDHEC Finance students.

Last week it was emailed to leading executives and companies in the field of finance and asset management.  These are people who already know the high quality of EDHEC's research centre and are keen to know more about the School's students and their potential. The brochure includes detailed information about the students, their capacities, their specialisations, general characteristics of the programmes and information on the School.  It explains how the academic excellence, expertise and advanced research work of EDHEC's professors help MSc students perfect their academic knowledge and prepare their professional career. It also includes the fields and companies in which EDHEC graduates have been employed and actively promotes the international aspect of the course.

Last year's employment brochure helped several students get their internship, several of which led to a full time job offer.
